A plate that looks like dinner, at every IDDSI level.

The Dignified Plate is the enterprise texture-modification standard for every Phoenix3 Collective brand: the IDDSI framework adopted in full, the National Dysphagia Diet cross-walk, production and plating standards, two-person release, the log set, and the Academy ladder that certifies the people who run it.

Food as medicine, in practice

How this workstream operates

Five principles the field can hold us to

Drawn from the Enterprise Culinary & Experience Strategic Plan. Open each to read the practice behind the headline.

01The RD as a formal gate in the menu lifecycle+
First-pass nutritional review with published thresholds built into the menu platform. Chefs own flavor and feasibility; governance lives in the system.
02Liberalized, least-restrictive diets as the senior living default+
The settled professional and regulatory position. Liberalization protects intake, satisfaction, and the weight-loss quality measure at once; over-restriction in frail elders is a documented harm.
03One texture nomenclature, enterprise-wide+
Full IDDSI language across the kitchen, clinical documentation, and training. The Dignified Plate carries the clinical standard with the evidence presented accurately and outcome language kept conservative.
04Centralize scarce expertise, distribute presence+
A small central clinical standards core plus consultant and network RD coverage sized to acuity, with no fixed ratios promised in contracts.
05Food as medicine with an honest evidence posture+
Lead with what the evidence supports: diet quality, food security, satisfaction, survey performance. Frame cost claims as modeled or early.
