Vendor standards, supply-chain transparency, receiving and inventory integrity, purchasing stewardship, and sustainability. Everything that happens before food enters the kitchen.
CrossCheck is the Phoenix3 audit platform — the proof layer of the Culinary Framework. It translates our Philosophy and Commitment into a structured, scored operations audit that any site can be measured against, on any day, by any auditor.
Most operators offer a commitment. CrossCheck is how we prove ours — turning belief into an auditable, enforceable, repeatable practice.
The Phoenix3 Culinary Framework is built in three tiers: the Philosophy (what we believe), the Commitment (the standards that bring it to life), and the Brand Experience (how each brand expresses it). CrossCheck is the instrument that measures all three at the operating level — assessing a single site’s compliance against the standards that define how we source, prepare, and serve food across Restaura, Culinour, and Infuse.
Each audit question is mapped directly to one of the four commitments — Responsibly Sourced, Scratch-Made, Nutritionally Balanced, and Unapologetically Delicious — and grouped under three operating pillars. Auditors record a Yes / No / N/A response for every checkpoint; where a camera icon appears, the finding must be backed by a captured photo. The summary dashboard then auto-calculates a compliance score for each pillar and the operation overall.
N/A responses are excluded from the calculation, so scores reflect only what genuinely applies to the operation. The result is a single, defensible number that tells a site exactly where it stands — and exactly what to fix.
The 132 checkpoints are organized into three pillars that follow food from the vendor to the plate.
Vendor standards, supply-chain transparency, receiving and inventory integrity, purchasing stewardship, and sustainability. Everything that happens before food enters the kitchen.
Scratch cooking standards, recipe compliance on the platform, nutritional integrity, IDDSI texture modification, food safety and sanitation, mise en place, and production waste.
Plate presentation, menu design, dining environment, service standards and resident dignity, wellness communication, cultural programming, team culture, and continuous improvement.
The dashboard auto-calculates a compliance percentage per pillar and overall, then assigns a status band.
Enter the operation name, date, auditor, and brand on the dashboard. Note whether the audit is scheduled or unannounced.
Move through The Standard, The Craft, and The Plate. For each question, select Yes, No, or N/A from the response dropdown.
Wherever the camera icon appears, take a photo and record its reference in the photo column — turning the finding into verifiable proof.
Document any findings, corrective actions, and follow-up needs in the notes columns alongside each checkpoint.
The summary tab auto-scores each pillar and the operation overall, assigns a status band, and shows exactly where corrective action is needed.
The complete Cross-Check Master — a self-scoring Excel workbook with the summary dashboard, auditor instructions, and all three pillar tabs ready to use in the field. Built for Restaura, applicable across every Phoenix3 brand.
